Software Engineer / AI/ML Engineer
Arjun Giridhar
About Me
I am a Computer Science student at George Mason University, pursuing a combined B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science with an AI/ML concentration. I completed my B.S. through the GMU Honors College with Distinguished Academic Achievement and a 3.92/4.00 GPA, and I'm on track to complete my M.S. in May 2026.
Through internships at ATPCO and Guidehouse, I've worked across backend and full-stack development, building services in Rust and Java Spring Boot, integrating AWS services, and delivering React-based features. I've also served as a Teaching Assistant for computer science courses, helping students with programming, algorithms, and systems while strengthening my communication and collaborative problem-solving skills.
I'm excited to apply my foundation in software engineering alongside practical AI/ML work, continuing to build technical skills while contributing to meaningful, user-impacting projects.

What I Do
Testimonials
I am pleased to recommend Arjun Giridhar for a Software Developer position. I had the opportunity to supervise Arjun during his internship at Guidehouse from June 2024 to August 2024. During this time, Arjun consistently demonstrated exceptional technical skills, a strong work ethic, and a keen aptitude for problem-solving in a collaborative environment.
Arjun worked on the software development of a grants management application, showcasing proficiency in React, Spring Boot, Java, and JavaScript. He impressed me with his ability to understand real-world requirements, adapt to changes, and contribute effectively to a team while building a large-scale application.
In addition to technical abilities, Arjun is a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills. He effectively communicated questions, managed unforeseen delays or obstacles, and showed initiative by recognizing ambiguous requirements that needed further discussion with design and strategy teams.
